Bassani Aft-Cat installed

Well, I finally got my full Bassani aft-cat on. Holy smokes! The Bassani web site video does not do it justice! It sounds fantastic. Definitely does NOT drone like the Stingers on my 06 which is a good thing. There are some high tones under load at some RPM's but nothing like the headache inducing Stingers. Has a bit of multiple personality. Almost strangely quiet when it idles down, but very aggressive when you exercise the loud pedal. I will say it would have been nearly impossible for me to install with the car on jack stands. If you don't have a lift, I would not recommend trying the install. I ended up driving the car to a local speed shop to finish the job. Drove for about 15 miles with just the x-pipe mounted. (now that was loud!) Halfway there realized I did not have my wallet with me. Passed three police cars but did not get pulled over. Very happy with the exhaust. Expensive, but worth it.

Sorry, I don't own anything that would even remotely come close to showing what this thing sounds like. All I can say is, if you are on the fence about it, go for it. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed. Some may find it too loud. If it is too loud, you are too old! (I'm 39 btw)

You lucky SOB... Still waiting on mine which have been back ordered for weeks now. But there is some light at the end of the tunnel, Dallas Mustangs called me up saying that they contacted Bassani and should get a batch delivered to them this week hopefully. Then it's ship it to me ASAP.
We need a video VERY SOON.

I got the Bassanis one week ago, and I for this price, i didn´t expect any drone.
It is annoying. The sound outside of this rpm range is amazing. Never heard something like that. WOW !!!!!!!!!
I will order the Corsa extreme an then I will decide.

I know, my english is not the best.
Yes I like the Bassani, but not between 1600 - 2000 RPM. Thats annoying.
For this price, I except a better quality (no drone at any RPM).
Out of this range its awesome. Quit at idle and at WOT.
Its the loudest car in town.

But I will sell it.
In Germany there are so many roads (not the Autobahn), where I have to drive in this range.

Hmmm...Mine do not drone in the least (Basanni Axlebacks). They are, in fact, pretty civilized and quiet. They'll sound off when you get on it, but in daily driving they are quite pleasant. I wasn't looking for a loud exhaust and I got exactly what I wanted. I suspect when you start removing the resonators and go to an X pipe this changes quite a bit (from the Vids I've heard)

After I added a X pipe on my 2006 GT, I thought my head will be explode (with the Flowmaster American Thunder).
I will try another exhaust and then I have to make a decission.
Maybe Borla S Type or Ford Racing Sport.
