Baseline Drag Testing
I was at Milan that day in the Ruby Red V6. I think we ran side by side once or twice. I ended up running a fastest of 13.82@101.7
Your time is very respectable. How was traction for you? What were your 60 foot times?

Your car looks awesome and runs great! It is amazing what the V6s run. I like your Ruby Red with the MCA wheels. It is a nice combination.
My best 60' was a 1.93 but most were in the 2.0-2.1 range. Traction was spotty.
Your times were great, especially considering the car is so new. I'd expect a bit more improvement as it gets more broken in.
Do you have any plans for mods?
Are you planning to go to Milan soon? I won't make it this week but will definitely try for next week.
At our local 1/4 mile tracks I've noticed that the stock autos are typically running 12.90's +/- a tenth. Stock manuals are all over the board depending on driver skill at launching on stock tires, but the better drivers seem to be in the 12.7 to 12.9 range. So, I'd say the manuals are a bit quicker stock for stock.
Modded, however, and the automatics seem to be running quicker than the manuals. And, the automatics are far more consistent (ideal for bracket racing).

I own a 14 GT 6 Spd. Non track-pack, it was stock at time of the race, on Perilli all-seasons, and it was my first pass ever.
I'm in the right lane for both races, and my friend is in his 13 v6 auto. He has a roush axle back and CAI at the time.
He was consistent both times, and beat me on the first run, but then I learned how to do a proper burn out and I didn't grind my second gear shift the second race.

Thanks Dennis! The current wheels are actually the 19" Performance Pack wheels, I run the MCA 18's in the winter time.

I can't make it this Wednesday either. I will try for the following week too. This time I won't be doing laps so we can meet and talk!
