They're both good options. I felt the MGW was a more complete solution, though, and went with their shifter.

Mgw is the complete option. Included in the kit u get all nylon bushings a whole new shifter box all the grease and lock tite you need, sound dampening material x3 to make sure you don't get any heat or mouse transfer through the floor. I have had mine for a year now and have a couple friends with them as well. No complaints from any direction and if you decide you want added protection for another 10 bucks they give u a heat shield and fiber glass to bolt to the bottom of the box to block off heat from from the exhaust. Detailed instructions are included. It is a complete solution made by a small company in southern ga that originally started making gun parts before they branched out.

Going against the grain... Barton FTW. Easily my most favorite and most recommended mod.

Perfect for my style of driving (spirited/track). Slam the gears as hard as you can, and this shifter (when paired with the bracket) make sure you never miss. It also has a very satisfying 'click' sound as you row through gears.

Until you drive an MGW. I had a Barton and bracket, drove an MGW car, and immediately ordered one and sold my Barton.

Replacing only the top section doesn't even come close to replacing the entire unit in terms of feel and performance.

I've owned both. MGW hands down the best out there.

I went MGW. Now if it would just get here, hopefully it will ship this week.

I have had 2 other Cobra's and put MGW shifters in both.
