Well guys,

As many of you know, I ordered a set of Boss 338 wheels last week. I paid full price for the set of NEW according to the seller. When I recieved the wheels there were a few nicks on them. Reading the shipping reciept I find that these are blemished wheels but got charged for new wheels. The only other wheel I like is the FR500s in 20inch gloss black. The question is, should I keep the blemished Boss 338s or work in getting the gloss black FR500s from a local distributor? By the way, the seller tells me I can return the wheels but I am responsible for restocking fee of 20 percent. Thanks

Who is the seller?!? Please advise us so we know who NOT to do business with. If they were sold as NEW and they were marked up, I would fight their restocking fee. That is absurd. Did you pay by CC?! Put a stop payment and return the wheels and fax a copy of the return and shipping label to your CC company to prove you returned.

Good luck

Like I mentioned to you earlier. Give them a day to make it right, and if they don't then open a dispute with eBay and PayPal.

I would call the place you got it from, and demand to speak to a manager or owner. Explain what happened and ask for a return shipping label to ship the wheels back and a full refund.

And do tell what the company is so we don't use them.

No way in hell I'm paying any "fee" let alone 20% for an item that was sold to me under false pretenses. I'd be disputing that charge with my credit card company immediately if they aren't willing to take them back.

If NEW was in the description of the purchase and you paid with PayPal, then definitely open a dispute with PayPal, and do it quickly. PayPal will immediately put a hold on the Seller's PayPal account for the total paid, whether or not the Seller has any account balance. If you do this, then the Seller will quickly resolve the problem with you. The seller will likely ask you to close the dispute so that they will have access to their full PayPal balance, so they can refund you. Just make sure you have everything in writing (e-mail, ebay messaging) before closing the dispute. If you are in the right, PayPal will have your back!

Yeah, PayPal has refunded my money about a half a dozen times, all due to disreputable sellers (and I generally do my homework first). They'll make good.

Where did u buy the wheels from????????

In my experience, PayPal was a wash. No help. They say, try to settle it with the seller on your own.
