Anyone heard of problem's with after market exhaust?

I ordered a '14 base GT with the Track Pack and will be picking it up next week. I have been reading and researching axle back exhaust. I have decided on the Pypes pype bomb axle back and bbk post cat mid x pipe (part #1460). I am wondering, after reading numerous posts and other peoples warranty claims, if this set up will have any adverse effects or cause ANY damage. I'm not curious about being denied a claim, but curious if this will damage anything due to the increased exhaust flow.

I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I am familiar with the basics. I read a post somewhere that led me to believe aftermarket exhausts would upset the balance and cause a failure somewhere. Sounds a little out there, but its in the back of my mind now.

So I am turning to the community for advice.

In the event that the parts will not harm anything at all, should I wait to install them, both parts will be delivered before I pick up the car.

Bbk and pypes are well known for fitment issues , I'd stay away from them , look into stainless works costs more but better sound ,hp and fitment!

That's odd, I have read nothing but good reviews for both items. I'm not looking for any HP gains, strictly sound.

Nothing in a cat-back exhaust will have any adverse affects on anything about your car but sound quality.

What about the bbk x pipe? It says it deletes the resonators.

Don't see how the X pipe would delete the resonators since those are on the over the axle pipes, you wouldn't have any issues with exhaust, and in the event that you did have to bring the car in for warranty work and though they would mark you for having it just change back the day prior.

I wasn't sure about the pipe deleting the resonators either, but its in the product description on their website. Anybody got any suggestions on how long or how many miles I should give it before installing the two?

Well, I waited almost two weeks before I changed the exhaust on my car...
