American racing headers

I have a 2011 gt and ARH are sitting in my garage. Should I attempt to pit them on myself or pay to have them put on $500 for install seems alittle steep

It's not all that hard, just labor intensive. Remember it is just nuts and bolts. I am a person who would rather wrench on my car rather then have someone work on my car.

Its not a hard job to do, just a pain in the *** lol. Make sure you get good quality gaskets or else you will be doing the install all over again once you develop an exhaust leak.

That's about right. I paid 530.00 and had Mustang Magic put them on for me because I hear they are a headache to put on, especially if your not using a lift.

The labor is about 6 to 7 hours at a shop, besides temporary removing and moving around parts under there. Doing it yourself I heard would take a whole weekend. I didn't want to deal with it, so paid someone to do it for me. But if your good with that stuff and have the time, then save your money!!!

If you do it yourself, do it on a weekend you have nothing else to do, feel like you can conquer the world, and don't mind having cut & busted hands for the next week.

For big jobs I drive the 1 hour to the nearest base and use the military hobby shop.

I'm about an hour from you. Columbia muffler shop may do the install but you need the tune to install after they put them on. They're a great mustang performance shop. They built my notch back 347.
