You can supply your own GT500 blower as well if you can find one super cheap. There was one on Craigslist a few months ago in my area for like $500!!

That is a great looking kit at a good price. Awesome intercooler and OEM fit/reliability for the rest.

Very cool! If I didn't already have my setup and very happy with it, this would have been another option!

Don't have the $$ right now to do a group buy, but I'd be very interested in this setup especially after hearing some good feedback from early purchasers! Later, Jim

What are you guys so psyched up about?

If you have an OEM GT500 blower sitting around, this is probably a great deal. Otherwise, I don't see the appeal.

If anyone would care to explain, I'm all ears.

Because it's cheaper than any other kit out there, the intercooling is phenomenal, and you can get a GT500 blower for pretty cheap. Did you read the article about it?

-The kit offers the same power potential as every other kit out there (on pump gas, which is almost everyone) for a lot less money.

-The intercooling is far and above anything else available. Intercooling being the MOST IMPORTANT factor in a street car.

-It is completely customize-able.

-It it can be grown in the future if power demands increase by using different head units (blowers).....to 1400hp. Something that can't be done with other systems.

$400-500 for a blower is crazy inexpensive.

If not less.

Of course there are people out there asking fantasy $$$ for them. They never get it though. I've seen people on feeBay asking $1500!! Dream on, LOL!

And the way the kits work you can get one with the blower included. Blower, TB and CAI for $600. Se really that is the max you would pay. And if you shop hard you can pay less.

It seems once you step up to better injectors and a 3 core HE, youre looking at the same price as a VMP kit. Am I missing something?

3 core HE? Where do you get one of those?

Why would you step up the injectors?

I should say a triple pass HE and if you ever want to go above 600whp you'll need 100lb injectors plus a boost a pump. The dollars start to add up.

Are aftermarket blowers such as a procharger better than the stock gt500 blower?

Ok ignore the last post I read the info page. So if I went with the kit everything I need is there other than a tune?

How much is the average charge fora shop to fit a supercharger?
