2013 GT Rev Limiter?

Hi all-
I've been told there's a rev limiter built into my 2013 GT/CS (supposedly that's the way they come). Can someone verify this? I've been reluctant to take it to the redline for fear of missing a shift and doing awful stuff to the motor.
Thanks!

Yes, rev limiter is at like 6800.

And you'll know when you hit it, it lays right down.

At night the tach turns red just before it hits the limiter.

Only on premiums since they have My Color, base cars don't do it.

Thanks for all the replies. I DO have the Premium (the /CS is only available with the Premium package), MT-82, 3.55 gears.
I've done some mods- Airaid Race CAI, BBK 90mm Throttle Body, Flowmaster American Thunder 3" Cat-backs, Barton shifter and two-point bracket, MMD hood struts, BAMA 93 Octane tunes. It's been dyno'ed at 419 RWHP.
Soooo, I won't worry about board shifts anymore! ;^)

Just an FYI the rev limiter is NOT going to stop the engine from hitting 9K rpm if you miss a gear (shift back to 1st from 2nd). The electronic limiter cannot stop a mechanical over rev, so be careful.

Stock tune = 6800 redline, 7000 fuel cut-off

I'm currently revving to ~7200 with my Bama tune, but that may change after next Tuesday when it's going on the dyno

Ha! If you are asking this question, you haven't driven your baby very hard yet! Pull up at a light next to a 911 and go for it. You'll find the rev limiter.
