2013-14 GT's harder to tune?

Are any of you finding the 2013-14 GT's harder to tune vs. the 2011-12 GT's? My 2014 is about 4 tenth's slower than my 2011 was with a tune from the same tuner. It seems to me that the parameters changed in 2013.

Dyno'd 387 rwhp with same mods as my 2011 manual trans that dyno'd 419. I realize that the automatics will dyno quite a bit less than the manuals. Tune is an SCT custom Dynojet tune.

Expect to see 5-10% lower for an auto car compared to its equal manual counterpart. The reason I give a spread is that some manuals are more efficient than others, while some autos are less efficient than others.

Auto's are tougher. Only 3 guys have them figured out that i have tried, JPC, Brooksspeed, VMP. What trap are you getting ? I have tried several.

Best trap speed has been 115.21 mph but most have been in the 113.5 range. E.T.'s have been 12.3-12.5.

With only a tune and the tires you are running you seem to be right were you should. What was your 60's?

Also LOL at the guy that thinks only 3 tuners can tune haha

Get a set of DR's and you should knock your 60 to around 1.85 with out having a convertor. Get cat deletes and that will free up some HP.
What rpm is your car shifting at? You shifting into 4th when you cross?

Autos have 3.15's. And as far as tuning the autos redcandy5.0 is correct only a few have them figured out.

Can't really expect an auto to make the same whp as a manual or run the same trap speeds with identical modifications... more drivetrain losses with an auto. That said, they can be exceptionally fast in the 1/4. I wouldn't trade a manual ever though...

There should be no reason the 13/14 is "less tune-able" than the 11/12's.

Autos will always be down compared to a manual in our cars unless you compare it to a DSG gearbox from VAG. Then that's a different beast altogether.

There are some parameter changes that need to be done on the 13-14's that didn't need to be done on the 11-12's.

To what parameters are you referring?

One would be the COT feature. There are a few different parameters to change on the 13-14's compared to the 11-12's.
