2013-14 GT's harder to tune?
Are any of you finding the 2013-14 GT's harder to tune vs. the 2011-12 GT's? My 2014 is about 4 tenth's slower than my 2011 was with a tune from the same tuner. It seems to me that the parameters changed in 2013.

Dyno'd 387 rwhp with same mods as my 2011 manual trans that dyno'd 419. I realize that the automatics will dyno quite a bit less than the manuals. Tune is an SCT custom Dynojet tune.

Expect to see 5-10% lower for an auto car compared to its equal manual counterpart. The reason I give a spread is that some manuals are more efficient than others, while some autos are less efficient than others.

Auto's are tougher. Only 3 guys have them figured out that i have tried, JPC, Brooksspeed, VMP. What trap are you getting ? I have tried several.

Get a set of DR's and you should knock your 60 to around 1.85 with out having a convertor. Get cat deletes and that will free up some HP.
What rpm is your car shifting at? You shifting into 4th when you cross?

Can't really expect an auto to make the same whp as a manual or run the same trap speeds with identical modifications... more drivetrain losses with an auto. That said, they can be exceptionally fast in the 1/4. I wouldn't trade a manual ever though...
There should be no reason the 13/14 is "less tune-able" than the 11/12's.
