COol, Yeah i never take it up to redline, you lose power anyway and now with the charger I take it to about 5 &1/2 but never up to redline...

 

I usually shift before red line, but I wasn't exactly listening and hit the limiter. ( Poof red light ) So I slowly took it to red line and it came on again. Would be cool if you could program it to come on at a certain Rpm.

 

Yeah it would, and also if you could see it during the day

 

it even does it with automatic trans... for whenever I manually put it into 1-2-3 and redline it, it'll blink- pretty sure it's standard.

My 2010 Auto V6 turns red at redline just like the picture. You do have to have a Premium package car for this to work.
Maybe a tuner can change the program to show at a lower RPM and you can use it as a shift light. Just a thought.

 

I went ahead and bought a Raptor shift light... Much more practical...
