JLT CAI
Hey folks....
I installed a JLT CAI last week and I have a question for somebody with more experience. When I installed it, the instruction had me disconnect the sound tube. Now it's completely out of the engine compartment and I have the unit it was hooked up to just sitting there, no cover or anything, as instructed. So does this have any effect whether I close it or not? If I close it off, do you have any suggestions on what to close it off with?
Thanks for the assistance!!

Are you talking about the part that goes through the firewall or the part that connects to the intake tube? I removed mine completely and I'm still looking for the perfect plug for the firewall. Yours should've came with a cap for the intake tube if you don't keep the sound tube. It doesn't have any affect on performance without the sound tube.
