Exhaust?
What has anyone done for their exhaust?
Found this vid of a 2010 with a muffler delete.
SOUNDS KILLIER!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBB8Aj1DPcU
My V6 sounds like an old farm truck if you have the mufflers off but that 2010 4.6 sounds fantastic!

The muffler delete does sound good but is a little loud for me for a daily driver. I love the sound of my FRPP stingers, pretty loud and throaty with no drone.

Yea from what I see and read- I don't want a noise box or to make it sound like a tractor...
Just a stronger/deeper note but still clean & classy.
I'm probably 95% set on the FRPP/Borla stingers.

Only muffler delete I have heard that sounded like a tractor was a V6 car and a '03 GT with no cats or mufflers, both of those sounded pretty ragged.
But that GT in the vid in my first post just sounds really good IMO. Really not too loud until it's wound up.

I just ordered my Borla Stingers!
Part # 11777. (Which is a different # than the 05-09 version... )
But I'm pumped to put them on!
EDIT!: So I ordered them through AM. And it turns out they are different enough to cause some fitment issues vs the 05-09 according to Jim over at AM... So I have to wait another "2-3 weeks" becuase Borla has yet to fulfill their order for them... which sorta sucks, but at least I'll be getting the correct part I spose... So yes, for 2010 stangs the part number is the one above for borla stinger axle backs.

^^ Yea like the cat back Roush. They did a nice job.
I actually emailed Borla to see what the differences were between the 10 vs 05-09 stingers and the 10 is a few inches longer apparently. So good call. And then they pointed me to who has the exhaust on stock (JEGS) So I canceled my hold order with AM and will now get the system sometime next week. It'll be $35 more, but that's what you pay for the 'I want it now' aspect. So it's all good.

Ehh, I had to pay some "processing fee of $15" which idk how that works. Also I had a 6% off at American Muscle... Which brought it down most of the way... I think regular vs regular price they're only like $11 more. Which yea, if I found an extra $11 in my pocket I'd like it. So, true... I'll give them a buzz. And finagle

So I just put on my Borla Stinger axle back!
Far better than stock; much more throatier, a lot deeper, louder- but not outrageous- at idle, little to no drone, very stout in the lower RPM, and plenty of sound in the higher range. The 4 inch tip is also a nice plus. And they're roughly 20-25 pounds lighter than stock.
Very happy I picked these out. Worth the extra $.
