Hey all, I'm bored as hell in Afghanistain right now and shopping for my project ideas. I dont know a lot about engine internals so i thought i'd aske here to get schooled up. I am thinking about using a stroker kits to achieve a 5.0l engine. Some say the stroker kits come to 5.1l and im ok with that too. But i really dont know what all that will require me to do. Will stock heads work? Port n polished of course and if i feel like spending the money what heads n cams would compliment a stroker kit the best. On the subject of cams i would like high lift cams. That sexy idle is like crack for the ears. Is there tuning to be done as well (well obviously there is but whats the best way to go about it. My overall goal is 500hp NA!
