CDC Classic Chin Spoiler
Picked it up Wednesday at CDC in Novi, Michigan . Installed it in the garage on a cold cement floor on Thursday. A nice piece , more work than on my 05. The car is a little more complicated in some respects from the 05-09's ,but a satisfying project . It has locations at each end for brake cooling ducts or fog lights. I am waiting for their fog light kit and then I'll put in a Roush bar grille with no fogs or pony .Other than a new set of wheels and tires ,thats it for appearance mods. I think ?

Freakin sweet, looks amazing!!!! Mine is supposed to be here Wednesday. How was the install? I'm pretty tool limited, anything special I will need to pick up? On that same note how about the side splitters because those are next on my list after the holidays.

I consider myself to be tool limited too.
However my wife just says I'm a tool.

Thanks for the feedback . Those are Roush side splitters. Both kits come with detailed instructions , tool lists and additional supplies list. Tools are pretty standard : pliers,1/4 inch electric drill,1/4 inch sockets, phillips screwdriver. Unlike the earlier version of the chin spoiler , you have to remove the "mutton chops "and the whole lower grille insert as well as the front part of the belly(splash shield) pan before you can install the the chin spoiler. The most difficult thing ,for me, was removing and reinstalling the Phillips head screws that connect each end of the the mutton chops to the fascia, one at each end.You need a short screwdriver you can easily grip and turn with your fingers, plus its pretty much a blind job and your fingers will be your eyes. Good luck ,read the instructions and work carefully.

I think it completes and compliments the lower black theme of the 2010 Mustang . I have had many positive comments since installing the chin spoiler . I like it and feel it was worth the money, time and effort . Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I've been saying it, but if I get an '11, it's going to look just like that but pearl white. If Ford doesn't offer me that color, I'm having it painted before I take delivery. Then having all the lower pieces and chin spoiler painted glossy black. Just to be different. Then get the Razors painted the same white with the outer lip glossy black. Mmmmm I can't wait!

The Roush front fascia is very nice ,but I didn't want to go that far . I will be doing a Roush grille though and putting fog lights in the CDC chin spoiler.

Car looks great. I sent you a pm before I found these pics. You can disregard my request, I have seen what I was looking for. I really like what you have done to the car, although I am leaning towards the RTR splitter.

Hey Tom. I know this is an old thread, but I'm considering the exact same product for my car (I think). I found it on CJPony, "CDC FRONT CHIN SPOILER", $245 black. Can you provide where you got yours and how much $? Also, any tips/warnings/advise? Any info would be great, thanks!
