Made the plunge and ordered borla s type quad tip axles backs with the gt500 rear valance! Hurt the wallet quite a bit but it'll all be worth it in the end, espcially after hearing all those clips on youtube. I also recently ordered the CDC performance grille which i installed and looks awesome. I also ordered the gt/cs fog light kit from levittown ford for 120. Can't wait to get all these goodies and start installing them. OH! and i just received today the stillen chin spoiler from (sterlinggrayarcher on the forums, great guy btw) which is going in next week to the body shop to get painted to match my SGM '14. Been an expensive month but now i think i am "done" with parts until i dive into the suspension and tune/intake

Absolutely. Here's once I took yesterday of the CDC grill. Ill take some next week of the gt/Cs fog lights and painted chin spoiler. Clips will be in a couple weeks when they arrive and get installed!

You sir are correct, thats a way better way to look at it. The money will be made back. However, the pleasure of turning heads where ever i go and getting some thumbs up as well as some dirty looks from ricers cannot

 

I really like the aggressive look of the CDC grille, but I'd be too worried about longevity of the condenser coil from all the highway driving I do.

 

I was thinking the same thing. But I figured the stock grille has openings which r quite large and never had a probably with rocks or anything. If u look closely there is a piece of plastic which comes down at an angle to protect the hood latch so that provides some protection.

Well the ups man was good to me today. The gt500 valance and gt/cs lower fogs were at my doorstep today. The fog lights are going on Saturday. The axle backs should be here Monday. If anyone from northern jersey wants to help me with the install it would be greatly appreciated, being that I don't have ramps, jacks, or jack stands lol.

It's the exhaust for the gt500 but it it's the gts no problem with the gt500 rear valance so that's exciting. Look the look of those bigg a$$ dual tips on each side, not to mention the mean note they roar.

 

ah yes... that's right... Borla makes a 2013 GT500 S Type exhaust... so since it's just a valence change to fit the Shelby on a 5.0, it would be the same steps...

Joey, as far as the matte black emblem... now I'm not too sure if I want to go that route. My Kona paint is dark, so if I go with the matte black emblem, now it will be tough to be seen. If anything, I want black chrome 5.0 badges.

What do you think?

 

I only got the matte to match my matte black stripes. I really like the gloss back to I just think it would look off on my car. Yours I think it would be a really nice compliment to the Kona blue. I think AM has some customer photos of a Kona blue with the gloss emblems

 

Does AM sell gloss black or black chrome 5.0 emblems?

Get your butt over to Harbor Freight and buy a good 2.5 ton jack and a pair of 3-ton jack stands. It'll only set you back $100 or so - they always have jacks on special.
