Sterling Gray wheel thread

I'd like to get new wheels for my Sterling Gray 11GT, but have no idea what to get! What do you guys thing?

I'd like to stick with 18" and in chrome.

I really like the stock rims, but wish they were wider.

Here is a picture of my car as it sits now.

Is there a demand for those stock wheels and tires? What do you guys think they are worth with only 500 miles on them?

i think the best wheel out there right now is the RTR wheels. late model restoration has them with a tire package.

The other thing u can do is, have those wheels painted gray, kinda like the MCA edition.. those wheels look sick gray and on a gray car.

Bought a 2011 GT500 in sterling gray. The darker finish on the wheels matches the color, and I'm sold on that look.

Have the stock wheels widened an inch in front and 1.5" in rear. Throw on a 0.5" spacer in front and 0.75" in rear. 255/40 tires in front, 285/35 in rear. Problem solved

And by the time I do that, I could have spent money on aftermarket wheels and sold my stockers to help offset the cost.

I was thinking FR500s, but it would be nice to see them on a gray car first. It looks like I'll be waiting until more people have aftermarket wheels so I can compare.

Well you said you liked the stock wheels and wanted to stay 18" and chrome. Just a suggestion. I like those wheels too, and it would be the route I'd go if I wanted to keep the stock/sleeper look.
