Any rubbing at all with 27.7" tall front and 28" tall rear tires?
I just installed the standard 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 tires on the same wheels as on your car. Maybe next year when they are worn out, I'll look into tires sizes as yours. More sidewall can't be a bad thing when done right, but I will probably do a 255/45/19 and 285/40/19 if 28" tall tire fits in the front.

Actually, if i could go back in time, i would chose to go with 305's for the rear to get more rubber on the ground for better traction, and besides, it would look meaner.

That thing looks sweet! Did you buy the SVT/PP wheels new or as take-offs?
Having owned multiple previous cars with Koni Sports, I am VERY happy with the Koni STR.Ts I have installed on my 5.0. They aren't adjustable, but somehow they seem great right where they're set.

Also very impressed with my Koni's , this thing hugs the road like crazy, even scary at times. I always leave TC on just in case i overestimate the car abilities to take a turn. I feel like big brother's watching me . Better safe than sorry they say.

The one mod you've done that I would like to do but have not is the Steeda intake/tune. I am still standing on the sideline waiting for this #8 cylinder issue to be fleshed out better, and/or for the dealers in my area to become a smidge less paranoid. It is ludicrous that an engine that runs happily on 87 octane would not have some power margin left to run safely on 91 octane.

I think you hit upon why insurance is more affordable for older folks for these cars. We have better awareness of our own mortality than your average 18-yr-old.

Eric, i wouldn't worry too much about that #8 cylinder paranoia . These were just isolated cases which i'm sure has something to do with the cars abilities to run on a higher octane gas IF tuned properly . Get the Steeda 93 tune from Gus and call it a day. You'll then enjoy a whole new different beast, especially on your 6AT.

You're sure right about insurance ......being an old fart myself ( only 44...) with a good driver record sure helps. I only pay $520 yearly with a $500 deductible on everything. I also have the new replacement value in case the car gets totalled or stolen.

And I have to say, Gus was certainly correct about these Steeda Ultralite springs & the adjustable panhard bar. Great quality and works perfectly.

I'd be looking at a very angry wife , which could potentially be far more expensive than a new short block.
I hear ya' as well !!! What woman wants .......
