No justice!
Is it just me or does Sterling Grey not photograph well??
I saw a girl's Focus this weekend and I noticed it looked awfully close to Sterling Grey Metallic. Well, it was. She had no clue what color it was other than she picked it out. I didn't want to look at the car plaque as I didn't want to seem creepy but I saw it was the same on Ford's site.
I loved the way the metallic looked in the paint, seemed deep, like our black metallic 335, just with a little more shine. I haven't seen sterling in person but in the pictures it looks like dark grey, in pretty much all pictures. There really is a lot more to the paint than it seems in photos. Just wanted to see if anyone else is with me on this one?
I had pretty much thought I was dead set on Black but the metallic is the Sterling has me changing my mind. As if that's hard to do.

Lol this guy^...
Yeah SG looks so much better in person, especially at dusk, IMO. It seems the new colors just don't photograph as well. I think it's the whole 2010+ body in general.

exactly right. Certain angles/lighting conditions make the 2010+ look great in pictures, but in person it looks 100x better in any color IMO

I was saying the same thing earlier. Its a really gorgeous colour when the sun catches it. Indoors or overcast its just gray..
That didnt stop me from getting one...update from the dealer, it should be arriving in 3-4 weeks. Only ordered it on June 2nd. Dealer (who is also a friend of the family) said that all of his mustangs have arrived within 4-5 weeks. I guess there is some love for Canada afterall...

Problem is that it still looks grey, but when seen in person, it is a very deap and awesome metallic paint that no picture seems to be able to reproduce. Maybe one hell of a DSLR might be able to but not the average point and shoot.

The 5.0 that I test drove was Sterling Gray and I really like the color and looking at these pics makes me want it again haha. I ordered a black 5.0 though cause I want a change. Definitely my 2nd favorite color. It looks really great
