Came home from work today only to find a puddle of gear oil all around my right rear tire only 4500 miles on her. Was so upset I didn't even take pics of the mess

Yes. Was towed in last night.

Well got my baby back today don't now who was happier, me or my daughter. One day with the Chevy Impala loaner/rental my 10 year old asked"daddy when do we get the vroom vroom back? This 4 door bore is lame." As far as the leaking seal goes, the service manager said he has not seen that happen before.

 

lol..my 6yr old daughter calls mine 'the Mustang' which it is.. but only because she knows it's my 'special' car. She could care less about my Altima.

 

Country boy made it to the city

 

Well 1000 miles later the axle seal started leaking again. Taking her back to the shop on Monday. Must have a defective axle. Never seen anything like this before.

 

Service advisor said they are replacing my axle. Should be out Thursday.

 

Got her back this afternoon. Replaced replaced the axle and seals. Going to take her on a 700 mile "test drive" tomorrow.

 

Good luck! Hopefully no more issues.

 

Yes sir!! Told the service advisor I only want to see him for regular services.

 

So far so good! Test drive was cut a little short...only 525 miles. Now for some more mods. Hope it comes out as good as I visualize it.

 

Hydro dipped parts picked up today. Just put the radiator and fuse box cover on. Now to install the splitter kit
