I picked up the car on 8-11-2012

Mods so far: flat black front pony cover, plasti-dipped "5.0" badges, hood struts, lightly tinted/painted the third brake light lens, '11-'12 GT500 mufflers with flat black-painted exhaust tips, and I've removed the no-longer-being-used stock hood prop rod.

More to come, of course

Today I was bored so I went out for a drive and pulled over into the first empty parking lot I saw, and snapped some pics, this time using my digital camera, not my cellphone

For those that don't know, Gabe, Ronin38 and I used to own chargers and posted on the same forum(all very active) and now coming here and seeing such a familiar face is nice. Nice to see you again Gabe!

Thanks but I did it my way ... I ordered the car, I took delivery, 2 days later I gave my notice. I stayed long enough to get the employee discount ... lol

I've wanted to leave for quite a while ... getting headaches every day is no fun ... rarely do I get one now, while on my "sabbatical"

Meanwhile, I'm driving my awesome new toy, got over 1900 miles on her already, and today I'm gonna put another 100 or so ... gonna pass the 2,000-mile mark in less than a month

Congrats on the new ride. It looks great. I tinted the side markers (yellow and red)/rear lower reflectors and it changed the whole look of the car. I got my car mid July and I hit 3K this week.

I have a 13 V6 and I`m not really liking the chrome grille... did you plasti dip yours?
I plasti dipped my faux gas cap and it came out great! Was thinking about doing the grille this weekend..

Thats awesome... Seeing you are from Delaware, any chance you've been to HHP? I had josh do some CMR tuning for my mopar and I heard he actually teamed up with a mustang shop, any truth in that??. I was thinking of bringing my stang up there to see for myself.

 

I used to work with Josh WAAAAAAAY back in the day.

He took my car for a drive not long ago and said he was VERY happy.

His new shop does in fact have a mustang guy in house(Performance Evolution)

small world! thats cool man, yeah I was up there maybe 2 years ago at the old shop but actually followed him to a mustang shop to dyno my hemi truck.. Say if you ever see a black hemi Ram with a twin turbo setup up there thats my buddy Mike. He designed that twin turbo himself at his home garage but lets Josh do the tuning. Im definitely heading up there soon, hope to catch up sometime

 

Single cab short bed? Tinted tails? Works at a bank? I know the truck if so

 

Thanks Steve, I really wanna do something about the side markers. I'm finding smoked ones on eBay for pretty cheap (less than $30/pair), but no rears ... I guess I have to either tint them myself or buy the tint film which I'm not a fan of ...

Thanks Skidder ... the "black grille" is actually just a pony cover, the rest is stock. The cover is in flat black and was $19.96 on eBay
