Back in a Pony car- My '14 SGM GT/TP

It has been a few years, but I am finally back in a Mustang after I stupidly sold my highly modified '01 cobra with an eaton swap. I have been in many high performance/sports cars since the cobra, but I always found myself missing it. So I had to act on that feeling by selling my previous car, a retarded fast turbocharged BMW M3 and replace it with a brand new GT.

I ordered this 2014 SGM GT with Track Package and painted side scoops plus louvers through the Military New Cars Exchange Program while deployed overseas. I picked it up June 13th while home on R&R. I only got to spend 5 days with the car until I redeployed, but I experienced some of the most exciting driving to date. That included taking it to the dragstrip and several highly spirited mountain runs.

The car only remained stock for the first 80 miles on the way back from the dealership. The first day of ownership, the stock cat-back was removed and I installed the Borla S-type cat-back system. It replaces the stock H-pipe with an X-pipe, new over axle pipes, and stinger mufflers. I also installed the Ford Racing ProCal tune.

Future mods will include window tint, Roush front chin spoiler, rear window louver, some suspension upgrades, and I may swap the Procal tune out for the Track Key.

OP-Welcome and Congratulations! Good to have you back on board and that's a good looking pair right there. Judging by your previous builds you're going to fit in nicely around here. Let me know if there's anything I can help out with in the meantime and shoot me a PM if you don't have our USMil discount and I'll get you set up!

Alex,

Actually I did have a problem trying to order on your website while deployed. Every time I went to pay for items in my cart an error message would pop up with something about my internet connection being out of country. I was never able to make it work.

Hey,

Sorry to hear about that! Have you tried on a different browser? When you were finalizing we're billing and shipping identical or was the order to be shipped to an APO/FPO? I know it can be almost impossible getting to a phone but if you're able to shoot us a call we're happy to have the order processed for you. If not can you shoot me a PM with a screen shot of the error message so I can get a better idea of what's going on? It's the 2nd time I've heard of issues like this in the past 3 years so I definitely want to know what's going on!

Thanks man. Looks like you have a pretty sweet ride as well. How do you like your Barton bracket?
