The lights look good. With white, you have to look hard to see the gaps on the bottoms.

I agree...I made a custom insert that covers it much better...I'm just waiting on my Blackout panel covering to decide whether I want to keep it a white insert ..or match it to the blackout.

Three nuts for each assembly. Just unscrew, unplug the old and plug in the new. Literally plug and play. I also added the Monster sequencers so my lights chase in sequence when I brake, set the hazzards, arm/disarm the alarm as well as signaling a left or right turn.

Should take you tops...15 minutes.

Boom

Yeah I just needed to get adjusted to the new tails....the decklid is getting blacked out this weekend.... I'm going to try a Gloss Black Vinyl first and if that's blehhhh... then I'll try a black Carbon Fiber Look Vinyl.

And maybe cover the custom gap inserts to match the declkid treatment so it will set it off a bit different from a 2013/14 rear.

Depends on whether you like the flatter weaker "tucked tail" look of the 2013's lower fascia. I tend to think the lower 2011-12 GT500 diffuser with the diffuser spoiler is much more aggressive look than the stock GT or V6 2013/14 rear lower valance. And the pop on the bumper dimensionally is just more aggressive. Makes the rear stance more intimidating.

Adding the rear decklid blackout actually makes this point clear.

Some may disagree. But if you want to stand out and be different... then sometimes ya just gotta do it. I happen to like the approach SALEEN takes. using the earlier style front clips and the later style rear tails.

Yes...the 2014 SALEEN actually has small gaps under the tails above the rear bumper. Since they used their rear fascia with those 2014 tails. And swapped the front clip for one that kept the blackout style grill of the 2011-2012 and the hood. The look was actually meaner. ;-)

So I ain't trying to be a SALEEN because simply...its not a SALEEN. But I'm trying to make a unique statement that sets what I have apart and still looks like it belongs. And the styling cues from SALEEN are something I appreciate more than the more unified look of the 2013-14 models... I have a hat tip to SALEEN simply in the form of a very subtle and faded fender stripe that is often difficult to even see. But in the right light... hints that its there. My look is more of a combinations of bits and pieces from lots of tuners I appreciate. Roush, Steeda, Shelby and SALEEN... etc etc, etc.

Just saying
