Painted Valances & Skirts

What are your thoughts on this? I like the matte look on my car because I have a lot of other matte black going on but sometimes I feel that it cheapens the look of the car. I decided to get some white plastidip and spray it on today. I've photoshopped it before, but nothing beats seeing it with your own eyes. I honestly love it especially from the rear. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this as my next mod along with a matte black roof.

Just did this to my 08 GT lady weekend, it surprisingly really changes the look of the car. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

The white on the lower parts doesn't appear to match the rest of the car....

Yes. He explained that it's white plastidip so he could get an idea...

I understood that. It doesn't look any better than the black because it doesn't match. This to me is really no better than a photoshop for that reason. Just my opinion. Just paint it for real so it matches and be done. It'll look great when it matches

I'm selling a set of rockers super cheap if anyone else wants to experiment. That way you don't screw up your only good set. Better safe than sorry.

Nice I haven't seen it done on many white cars. I wish someone had better pics on a 10-12.

It's hard to photoshop it since the black skirts blend in with the road/shadows. How much do you think this would cost? $200-300 range?

I was going to suggest black roof from your first post but you said you were thinking that. I say go for it. Paint your calipers black too! And I'd get the 3D Carbon boy racer side skirts before having paint done though...they look a lot better than stock and take some of the middle mass away from the car.

You can still get a much better picture in person from say 10 feet away than a photoshop. This way he gets a 360* sneak peek. I get it...

Wow, I love it! I love the painted Valence and Skirts. The black roof and hood spears help tie everything in. I also love your stance, what suspension are you running?

Keep up the great work and let me know if you ever have any questions!

Thanks! They're k springs. I think the black roof and black rocker stripe will break up all the white. So far I've gotten everything from AM, might hit you up when I decide on rims.

Here's a couple pics of my 08 GT with the black plasti dip accented...

The wheels where also dipped, I'm getting a spray gun before I dip the roof. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and how easy it is to apply.
