is it me or are the stripes not even before and after the rear wheel?

Because if it did, wouldn't the rear cover the lights like the BOSS?

Or is it an optical illusion?

Might just be the angle the pics were taken at. I think the stripe looks the same around the side marker as it does on a real BOSS.
