FMCC was offering 0% or $1500 rebate, so I took the 0%. I had the $750 coupon, and also a $1250 Renewal Rebate for coming out of my Edge Lease. These combo'd with over $2500 equity in my Edge (used car market is just stupid right now), and X Plan made is possible for me to get the car.

First Mods:

Tinted Tailights ($10 mod) Matches the stock tinted Third brake light perfect!!!

What it USED to look like:

AND NOW

Didn't want them "black" just tinted a bit, so I used one good thick coat then rubbed the hell outta them with 3M rubbing compound to shine them up and give them a gloss look.

Really need new mufflers though! This thing is super quiet!
You also need that Storm Trooper/crossbones logo on your quarter glass.

Check out the GT500 mufflers- much louder than stock but quiet enough to not be obnoxious.

Congrats on a great deal on a gorgeous car. :toast:

Looks great. The 6-Speed with the 3.73's are a lot of fun huh? My only advice is to go very easy on shifting until some good wear patterns are established in the trans. At 6500 miles I still go to 3500 in 1st then eeeeasy shift into 3rd on my way to work to get the thing all warmed up. But I don't have to go below 4th for the first 30 miles. Then the rest of the day the shifts are smooooth. No need to chew up 2nd when the trans is cold.

Or on the faux gas cap. That would look sweet.

FRPP Drop Springs went in......"M5300P" Springs.
VERY EASY Install! its a subtle drop which is what I wanted....but I can definitely tell the difference. Still gonna take a bit for the springs to settle.

Measurements:
BEFORE ....... AFTER
DF: 29.25............28.75" PF: 29.25...........29.00"
DR: 29.75..............29.15 PR: 29.85.............29.00"

I think that is all I will be doing for now..... till I get to NC in December.
