The 5.0 has arrived!!
Washed her up today to get some road salt off it. Also put the winters on a few weeks ago.
Looks like I got bumped so I have some touch up to do on the front bumper. Not happy about that.

It's not DOT approved so no not street legal. Only going to be using it for autocross which is on a closed course. Just took it out on the roads today to test it and see how it feels.
When there's a rollover risk, you usually want a harness bar or roll cage. Since this is just to hold me in my seat in the autocross twisties, the bar or cage is unnecessary, and saw no point for a 4 or 5 point system considering my goals. I just wanted to not have to use the stock seat belt during my runs since it doesn't hold you in place at all.
It's a corbeau 3 point snap in harness. The bottom points are the two rear seat belt bolts, where there are two Schroth dog bone brackets mounted. The back point is the drivers side child seat upper anchor. On all three points, there is a threaded link that I then snap the harness to when needed.
When I'm not using it, it just snaps out and goes in the trunk. You can barely see the lower mounts, and the upper link tucks under the stock rear anchor cover. I'll get some pics next time it's put in to illustrate it more.
It does work awesome though. REALLY holds you in the seat without moving at all.

After some quick research, looks like some harnesses can be done legally and safely without a cage. Now I'm seriously considering this. Thanks alot, Lewis26. You just cost me like $600 damnit!
