I just Hit 2.5 years (26988 miles), and it is hard to believe. I was thinking about something new, and quite honestly, I can't see trading or selling this one. The more I drive it, the better it gets, and the more I enjoy it. And, the color is still beautiful in the sun. Guess it is a "keeper" since Ford will not be making the Red Candy (U6) again. The MT-82 also seems to have improved a great deal with use. It was 28 degrees (F) this morning and it was still shifting smoothly.

Op, congrats... I posted a thread like this once, and the mods for some reason moved it to the "kona blue" section. I'm still perturbed about that. Makes no sense. Enjoy your thread while it lasts here

I'm curious, how do they compare? I've seen all the review comparisons but would like to know for a real person who's owned both. I like the SS, and love my 12 GT; no intentions of switching ... I've been head to head and they seem close.

Yeah we all got ours about the same time. Just turned 6k last night on the second car which won't be one 'til February. Now, off to install my Christmas presents.
