Kona Blue in a spray can?

I'm getting some hood struts and want to paint the brackets to match my car (Kona Blue).

Does anyone make exact match spray paint? I've checked DupliColor with their perfect match colors and they don't seem to have Kona. I also checked the dealer and they only have the tubes of brush-on stuff.

Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks Canyon. I contacted them and they said they don't have it...but gave me the name of their sister-company who does. They are ExpressPaint at 1-877-962-3800. I got one can of aerosol paint to match. I think the struts will look very factory-like once painted. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Why not just purchase the paint as a liquid and use a disposable Preval aerosol kit?

Good suggestion. I'd have to check to see how much it would cost for the aerosol kit. I think I'd probably need two of those little tubes of brush-on touch-up paint from the dealer to have enough. The aerosol can of Kona from ExpressPaint is $25 bucks. Hmmm...I'll have to do some math.

Thanks again.

Check some of your local autobody/paint supply shops as the one I use offers OEM matched colors in an aerosol can for $8.

Glad you found some info on your mustang paint. I have used color rite for motorcycle apps.Better off to just buy a can. Some paint shops will charge you a quite a bit. Also try and use the can right away. We painted a VW thing Tan W/ mixed auto paint spray cans and it came out great. Also try and get Fan tips for the spray can. They cover great and reduce runs.
