Hood Corrosion

So i have a bunch of paint bubbles on my hood from corrosion. If i try to repaint the hood the corrosion could happens again. Wat are my options, is it possible to get another hood since ford doesn't make kona blue anymore

The hoods from Ford are not painted. They are painted at the body shops. They come primer sealed and ready to shoot with little prep work. It'd have to be shot anyway.

I would entertain getting a not-aluminum hood, such as a Cervini's or such, rather than go with a 'maybe' on a new aluminum hood. This is what I did rather than take the chance on a 3 year "well, there's bubbles again.." situation. My hood will hold the paint now, and that makes me happy.

Plus, the Cobra R hood on an Gen 1 S197 is just teh sexay.

Anyone who got a aftermarket hood and has a oem Kona blue in good shape I'll buy it

Have you checked with American Muscle? IIRC, they have some "prepainted" options.
