This is an INCREDIBLE Picture!
I wish they had pulled the 71 up next to the 2010 like they did the 70 though as well. Where was this at? God I wish Ford would bring that car down to Tampa!

Someone at Ford Must Really Have It Out for the 2010 Mustang, or they're just really proud of their work. Why in the Hell do they keep pulling out all of those God Awful Scoops, Louvers, and Spoilers and Sticking them on such a beautiful car? I mean Honestly, why mess with this?
The only things I would change would be the HID headlights, and the Dark Chrome Pony in the grill, I'm just not feeling that Dark Chrome Pony, it just seems to get lost and disappear in that black grill.
Now here's a thought though, what about an Argent Grill, Silver, for those of you that weren't around back in the 70's, to match the silver headlight buckets the HID's have? I think it would look pretty Hot. Can someone Photoshop it?

It's not the HID's fault. They look fine on the V6 and GT-500 in my opinion. That's It! It's the painted divider between the Grill and Head lights. With the Blacked Out Grill, the GT has nothing for your eyes to focus on next to the HID head lights, and with the Bigger Fog Lights in the Grill that make it look even more Cross Eyed. With the standard lights you at least have the Chrome surrounded Turn Signals between the head lights and the Grill suround, not to mention the standard Head Lights are the same size as the Fogs.

I was trying to figure out why I like the Grabber Blue on the 1970 model but didn't like it on the 2010. Seeing the two together in a picture I have figured out why. It is because there is not enough black contrast on the 2010 to balance it out. For me the 2010 definitely needs a black hood stripe, black decklid panel and headlamps with black buckets instead of silver.
It's also interesting to see that the 1970 looks smaller than the 2010.

I've got both a '69 Hardtop and a '04 Coupe in my garage and the '04 is obviously taller & wider.
1969-70 vs 1999-04 vs 2010-11
Length ... 187.4 vs 183.2 vs 188.1"
Height ... 50.3 vs 53.1 vs 55.6"
Width ... 71.8 vs 73.1 vs 73.9"
Tread Width ... 58.5 vs 59.8/59.3 vs 62.3/62.9"
Wheelbase ... 108 vs 101.3 vs 107.1"
Interesting that in this era of pushing the wheels to the corners that the 69-70 wheelbase is the one dimension that beats the current car.
Here are pic's of my '04, '98, & '69 Stangs for comparing size ...
