Insight wanted.
Long story short, a week ago I purchased a left over 2013 gt. for the rebates and the fact that aftermarket parts will be more available than the 14's. I put about thirty miles on her, and she died like died. ford thought it was the fuel control module. they replaced it gave it back and said she was good. put another 40 miles on her and she died again now she wont start at all. took it back to ford and they gave me a 14 for the price. its the same car color motor and features just a model year newer. My question is what precautions should I take on this one, I'm a little nervouse cause i dont want this one dying.

None. Anything mechanical can breakdown and WILL breakdown. You, unfortunately, just got a bad one but it sounds like you have a great dealership. Instead of trying to keep fixing it or putting you into a rental until they figured out the problem, they gave you a new one. Celebrate and get out there and enjoy your new car.

Scotty, get out there and drive her. Don't focus on the '13 and its problems, thinking the '14 may suffer the same unless you treat her in a specific way. Drive it like you stole it. Sport driving is what they're built for.
I would be extremely happy with a year model upgrade. Your dealership did you a good deed! They deserve your future business.

Kudos to the dealership and awesome luck for you.
What city/state are you in? Others may want to avoid a lightly used '13 GB GT that could be on the market soon

As far as breaking it in right......well that can start a huge debate. Some will say to keep it under a certain RPM for so many miles. Change the oil after so X amount of miles. Others say drive it hard and let the internals break in under the condition that it will be driven.

My rule of thumb has always been baby it for the first 600 miles (2/3rds to 3/4ths of redline) then you're good to go. My opinion is worth what you paid for it.
