I finally did it!!!! Introducing Quorra!
Whew! Enjoy it while it lasts. I have chips on the nose here and there, and scratch on the hood, no idea how it happened, at least it's small. Not gonna be a show car, it's meant to be driven so I didn't get upset about it.
Same here, i drive this beast to work everyday so i know i am gonna get some wear and tear on her. I have changed my route to work though to avoid the interstate. From my experience that's where the majority of my past rock chips, and cracked windshields have come from. Not putting Quorra through all that hahaa. Gonna try to keep her pretty for as long as i can.
Hey man, the short version of my failed post earlier is please don't be intimidated by a DSLR. All I started with was reading the manual on a base Nikon D40. Just get one, take it off auto, and have fun! Memory cards are cheap and it makes learning fast and easy being able to instantly review, change settings, and delete the bad pic.
Here's what a 5ish year old base model 6.1megapixel camera with a 25year old hand-me-down lens will get you:

(the resolution on that second one is messed up)Just to clarify, I am not a professional in any way and there's nothing stopping anybody with a mild interest from achieving some awesome results.

Also, don't make the mistake I did and waste any clams on a K&N drop in filter for HP gains, it has been proven over at SVTPerforance to not add anything. Keep that stock filter unless you already have plans for CAI and tune. Hope some of this was helpful. Enjoy that Boss my friend!
(Ok, got myself straightened out)

Cool pictures, thanks again buddy.
Shawn, check your oil. That silly looking flexible tube that just got in your way? That's the culprit. If I have one complaint (other than the stock shifter) its the waste of engineering resources that went into providing that gimicky POS that is supposed to give you more engine noise in the cabin. Once you have removed the side pipe restricting plates, and I hope you do, it is utterly worthless anyway. You can buy a kit if you Google sound tube delete, or you can go to Napa and buy a ford master cylinder cap gasket which fills in the hole in the firewall. Then head to Lowes for a rubber cap which will cover the hole on the intake tube, like the ones that go on the leg of a stool to protect floors. Anyway, it is easy to remove, cleans up the area, and makes it easier to check the oil. One other important thing for the engine bay, an oil separator. I still need one for mine. This will help ensure that oil mist from the heads doesn't make its way to the intake, which can cause engine-damaging detonation over time. Don't forget to drain periodically!

Thanks pal.
No problem, insomnia and wordiness kicked in for that last one. Also, when it comes time for your first dealer service, remind those numbskulls that it takes 5W-50, and to please refrain from doing you any "favors" like washing your baby. They are almost guaranteed to screw these two things up.
Have I mentioned lately that I love your car? It kind of hurts to look at its so cool...
Ah, another former S2000 owner. Mine just drove out the driveway yesterday afternoon. Lovin' my Mustang. Yours looks great. Congrats!
