Grabber Blue 2011 GT/CS coupe

A friend of mine bought this in July. I got to spend the afternoon driving it around on a recent visit out to Alberta. Very nice machine.

Nice ride. I wish Ontario did not require a front plate like Alberta

Yup, a front plate is required by law here in BC too. I've had my GT500 here in BC with no front plate for 4 months and have yet to be hassled by the police and I live 2 blocks from a police station and drive by several cops everyday. I have a slide out bracket if I decide to ever mount the plate. But I don't think I will.

He's going to change out the rims and tires in the spring. Unforunately the rear wheels/tires are to narrow and do not fill up the fenderwells. He's looking at black with a polished or chrome lip 20"Bullitts.

I have been debating about taking mine off as well, it is mounted with zip ties at the moment
I have a Police station right accrosss the street from my building which is one of the reasons I am reluctant to take it off.

This past week the weather in Toronto has been a lot cooler and I noticed the little traction I had disapear. Have to take off a lot slower

After my last post I went out for a little cruise and had a cop come towards me at one point. He was certainly checking me out as we past, and I fear that if I had no front plate he would have done a u-Turn.

Thanks. Unforunately he lives about a 14 hour drive away from me. So there won't be much cruising together going on. It's funny because originally I was looking at getting a Kona Blue GT500 and he had a Kona Blue 2011 GT on order. Once I bought the Grabber Blue GT500 he ditched the order on his Kona Blue car when I found a 2011 Grabber Blue GT/CS that was available at a lot near his place. Copy cat friends. lol
