GB Coupe is what I SHOULD have bought to begin with!

A year ago I bought my first-ever Mustang, a 2011 PW 'vert GT 6MT. I didn't listen to my wife, who favored GB & the coupe over the 'vert. Long story short, due to recent physical issues (bad left knee/foot, bad right shoulder) I decided to sell/trade my '11 PW vert and settled on a 2012 GB coupe with the 6AT.

My wife is much happer now, and so am I! Enjoy these pics, taken today, post-Zaino and post mod-installation. The pics just don't properly capture the color tho.

My 1st mod was to change out the exhaust. It really woke her up! I'm just an exhaust lover. Kinda endless possibilities in them.

I believd the Boss 302 coil covers match to your GB?

Yes, the Boss coil covers are very close to GB. Possible future upgrade for sure.

THANKS to all for the words of encouragement! I love looking out over the GB hood. I am loving the perfection of this paint, but I have to face the fact that it's not going to stay perfect for long...

Congrats on terrific color. I switched my order from Kona to Black and finally settled on GB...you have to see this color in person to get the real color..suggest a slight underexposure on what is easily the most difficult color to photograph as GV is actually darker in person.

Look @ it like every thing will 1 day become bad. Just like it when it's still perfect! Don't worry about what hasn't happened.

Beautiful car! How much did it add to the sticker to get the great looking kids? I didnt see that option when I was ordering my car.

LOL, the kids add considerably to the "MSRP" but being priceless they are well worth it!

Wise words. I just feel fortunate to have this car at this time.

Very nice Eric. This is the only color for Mustangs i would consider putting on stripes. White stripes really set off GB (in my opinion).

I would recommend looking into http://www.drcolorchip.com/ as the GB paint doesn't seem to be terribly thick and chips very easily. I just went over my GB this past weekend with this and it works awesome!

100% agree! In fact it was the "Ford" Magazine of about 6 months ago that got me "into" GB - it had a GB GT500 convertible on the cover (and many pages inside), which had awesome white stripes!

I was wondering how well Dr. Color Chip worked! I was planning to get it for my wife's Honda Odyssey that is approaching 100K miles. And certainly I'll need it for my GB Mustang eventually

I'm just not sure which size to get - $39? $59? etc....

I got the biggest size and I can't ever see using the entire thing. I think the factory paint would go bad before I used it all.

Grabber Blue is an exciting color, good choice! I love your interior too, looks like blue stitching and a blue center stripe! I'm jealous!

Yes, thanks, and there was also a pleasant surprise for me: the steering wheel leather has grabber blue stitching as well. It looks..."boss!"
