How do the harnesses work with the seatbelt have chime? Do you just drive with it chiming??

There are a couple options.

One, I can just buckle the OEM belts behind the seats
Two, I can get a spare set of buckles and engage them to fool the car
Three, can take apart the OEM work and hardware the sensor so it always thinks the belts are buckles.

I'm sourcing a spare set of buckles for my option 2. I use only the OEM belts for street driving, tucking the harnesses behind the seat, as the OEM is safer than harnesses unless I'm wearing the helmet and HANS device.

There is a method to turn it off permanently. I think it's in the owners manual.

Need to grab a couple pictures, but I put a Whiteline front sway bar with adjustable end links in this past week. Set it to the 2nd stiffest setting for my track day yesterday. Turn transitions were great and the car felt nice and flat up front, but it pushed a little more than I want. Backed it off one adjustment and will give that a shot.

Also ordered a set of rear caliper relocation brackets to support GT500 13.8" rear rotors. Brackets arrived, working to source rotors

Also got my Conti scrubs mounted up and got about an hour of driving on them at Palmer. They were really good!

The brackets I got did not require axle removal. I bought them from a guy over on SVT forums - he also sells on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-14-Mustang-14-Rear-Brake-Rotor-Adapter-Brackets-GT-Boss-302-GT500-V6-/151679393261?hash=item2350cbdded&vxp=mtr
They are nice pieces and fit up perfectly. I'll have them out at the track in about 2 weeks for some testing.

Yeah, I've got 2 sets of BFG R1's (1 mounted, one ready to go) and a set of Conti slicks mounted, with 2 more sets arriving next week. My warehouse is getting full :heh:

Looks great! Looking forward to hear what you think of the performance. How long did it take you to swap the rear brake set-up?

About an hour. Put the first bracket on backwards, had to re-install. Pretty easy job. Can't wait to try the setup out!

Come on, she has to have realized it's a racecar NOW, right?? :rofl2:

Jazzman442 5/15/15 02:03 PM

What rotors did you buy? OEM GT500?

Nothing else needed?

Car looks great only thing missing is a few sponsors!!

5.M0NSTER 5/15/15 07:22 PM

How much was the set up? It was only the brackets, mounting hardware and GT50 rotors, right? I may be tempted to do that if the axles don't have to come out!

Brackets: $125 for the pair (with bolts)
Rotors: I sourced a pair for $80 shipped (GT500 takeoffs). But Centric has them through RockAuto for about $140 shipped (the high carbon ones)

So just over $200 total. Looks much better, and way more surface area that I expect will support better cooling!

Haha yes need sponsors!!! Nothing else needed besides brackets, bolts (which came with brackets) and GT500 rotors. OEM brake lines fit just fine.
