yes sir, I followed the link you sent and joined up here also. Thanks for the steer.

So where abouts in the UK are u? I was down south in Horsham (close to Gatwick) before moving out to Texas 2 years ago.

This pics here might give a clue to my colour choice on the Mustang lol. this was my old R500 that I had built to my spec back in 2000. Pretty close match eh?

Hi Neil

Yeah, this is a great site, especially for the S197 Mustangs. This really is a great time to be a Mustang fan

I live in Newbury, Berkshire, about 20 minutes from Reading in one direction, or Swindon in the other. About 8 years ago, we very nearly bought a house in Hayward Heath, not too far from Horsham!

That's a great looking Caterham. I never driven one, but would love to have a go sometime.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Just for reference, here are 2 other UK based Mustang forums:

Thanks Ricky, yeah it is a great color alhough obviously a mater of personal choice, I appreciate not everyone likes it. I spent about 2 hours on the forecourt trying to decide between my one and a black one.

Now if I can just get the dang car back from the garage where its been for the last week I will be a very happy man.

Had a rear diff noise, that turned out to be bearings, then when they repaired this they found a vibration that probably caused the bearing failure in the first place. Then they discovered the Ring and Pinion needed replacement due a harmonics issue causing the vibration.

The Ring and Pinion are not avaialble, parts are on backorder from Ford...............ahhhhh

Yesterday Ford Customer Care rep authorised dealer to order a whole new rear end, axel to axel, so just waiting for a delivery date on that and then for how long it will take garage to get it installed and back to me

So far Ive owned the car 20 days and its been off the road for 7 of those. Not a great start
