New rims and other mods on '11 GT

Hey guy figure I post a couple of pics of whip with some new rims and other mods. The rims are 18x9 AMR rims wrapped in 275/45/18 continental on all four corners. I also installed some new smoked front corner lights, and here are some pics of my color matched center console. hope you guys like the pics.

Wow it looks real good. Was going to go with those rims in 19s but was afraid they wouldnt look black enough with my black vert top. So I got black ones from 5.0 resto. Also love look of hood!!!! I did my engine covers to but oppisite. I will be posting pics on here under what to do with my gt/cs. Love car

Looks great! I love the meaty looking tires personally! I also really like the painted console! I was thinking about something like that in my non-iup car. But does it glare bad in the sun?

Thanks man. I took a look at your pics. Your car is looking good as well. I really love the look of my hood as well. I think I really makes the car. I for now am the only one in San Diego that has my hood this way. I really wanted the car to look unique, but still look like it could have came from the factory this way. I really love Chip Foose design of Car. His design have that classic look that will stand the test of time.

Thanks Kevin. I like how these cars look with some meat on them. Plus everyone goes low pro. I wanted to be different, and I got a great deal on them when they were on sale on tire rack. I just wish I bought 4 more and stored them for future use. As far as the center console goes, I have no issue with glare from it what so ever. I do have Limo tint on all windows except the windshield which just has a top strip of limo tint, but never seems to bother me when driving. I did have trouble the first month or so me staring at it the whole time I was in my car.

Your car looks great. Silver is awesome. My last 3 cars were silver, fell in love with color on the first silver one and stuck with it since.

Did you paint engine covers yourself, and if so what kinda paint did you use? Thinking about something similar on mine, but don't want to use something that will burn off.

Thanks man. I used lacquer paint I got at the auto supply store. I took my time and did close to 10 coats of clears. I will probably redo it soon than later. I did the pieces on my balcony right next to a very busy road so there are some contaminants in the paint, but overall, it looks pretty good and has held up well. post pics of your when your done
