Just bought a '11 Cal Special Vert. Thinking about leaving hood to fender stripes and take off side Cal Spec stripes what do you think? Any other ideas? Maybe painting front grille black. Also reinstalling Cal Spec logo on rear faux gas cap inplace of owner installed GT one. Anyone know easy way to do this? Thanx

I say get rid of the Dodge stripes, leave the CS stripes, and paint the grill black.

Well CS stripes going. I dont like my Stang to look like all the other CS out there. I like to be different. If it was going to a collectible ok but its really not. Black 5.0 on side and black grille and maybe black wing. I like the other stripes they caught my eye right away as they are different

 

Then I guess the only actual question was how to change the rear medallion back...If it's like the older ones, then heat it up and rip it off.

 

The faux caphas to stay as it goes with the black out pc(not huge fan of it but afraid to take offand screw up black under it so it stays for now). And I have original badge but it has to be drilled off it looks like

Took off grille and took apart then painted black. And reinstalled....much better. Should come from factory black

I painted engine covers silver with blacktrim and stut tower brace black. I will post pics soon. Also just got black Drift wheels with 275 all around
