I want to tint all lights/reflectors on my black ride! Just can't afford it right now. It's in my plans list.

Sorry, I don't think you should be putting other people in danger by doing this.

I really don't think his tinted lights are the most dangerous thing on the road...

I didn't say the most dangerous but dangerous. The headlights are for more than just the drivers vision. They're also for other drivers and other pedestrians that might be walking or using some other form of transportation.

I wouldn't tent the lenses. I would buy the ghost Chrome ones of American muscle.

My point was that the "danger" wasn't worth mentioning. All of the ones I've seen still let plenty of light through for others to see.

cali people seem to think everything is dangerous. Also long as its not to dark all the no light will be lost. Its not like the moreless that tinted his windshield 20%.

Thanks guys...
I know darkening your lights is not the safest thing to do, but I'm slightly interested in it... I live in Japan and didn't have a choice of what lights to get on my 2011 GT. In Japan, they only offer HID.
I know HID is great and have enjoyed them on all of my other cars, but I'm in the minority that doesn't like the look of them on the new Mustangs... I really want halogens because I think they look nicer, but it's looking less likely that retrofitting them is possible...
So, I'm just think about uncrossing the eyes of my Mustang by actually hiding them...
Crazy, I know....

What is everyone tinting the lights with? Window tint or is there something special out there to use? I hate the fogs on my '12 and want them hidden.

There are precut tint pieces you can get, not sure who has the best ones but I know stangmods.com has some for all the lights on the 2011-12

I have tinted headlights. But mine are safe because the tinted headlight balances out with the HIDs I have in the standards Halogen buckets.

So instead of too bright, now they are just right!

You see. I thought ahead. Works perfectly.
