New Photos of My 2011 GT

I just took these this morning of my 2011 GT. She just hit 14,000 miles yesterday, so I treated her to a Tri-bar on the grille. I am trying to make my own version of a Boss 302, but more in the 1970 Style. Still pondering the stripe though. The 5.0 Badge makes it tough since it has two alignment holes.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on the Tri-bar? It looked more sinister without it, but I think it adds more identity.

Thanks! Seems like I always have the MOD fever with a new car. But I do like being original!

Looks nice!!! I agree with you on going with the '70' style Boss stripe idea.

I like the tri-bar. Is that a Roush grill? Has your car been lowered? I really like the BBP wheels, too bad they didn't make a 10" wide wheel.

Yes, it's a Roush grille. I picked it up on Ebay for $52.00. The car is factory height. I am thinking of an original 1970 Boss Stripe which is black Reflective. Just not sure what to do with the 5.0 emblems at this point.

Car looks awesome. I'm not a huge fan of the rims you picked but it doesn't matter, its what you like. Keep going, it looks great.

They're the stock wheels that come with the Brembo package.

Whoops, okay I should've realized that. Well then there's an opportunity then to maybe get something a little "tougher" looking? I would anyway.

Looks great from what I can see. Any chance of getting a straight on front shot? I've been thinking about what kind of emblem to put on my grill and I think I like this idea.

I will have to take a new shot of the front tomorrow when I get home.

As for the BBP wheels, I think they are pretty tought looking. Take a look at the new Boss, and you will see they are pretty similar. Plus, the Brembo package was $1695 and the wheels were one of the main reason I ordered that way.

Looks great! How are your tires holding up after 14000 miles?

Wow, that front grille looks soo cool. I think it would look really good with the pedestal spoiler. The louvers look too close to the spoiler imo.

The Louvers are attached with 3M tape, and lift up for cleaning. They are powdercoated aluminum.

The grille is also aluminum, painted Gloss Black like the car.

As for the tires, I replaced them at 10k with PZero Nero. The don't handle quite as well, but they will last a heck of lot longer!! I also upsized to 275/40ZR19 all around. Also, the PZero Nero is a lot smoother and quieter.

Here is a photo of the Direct Front of the car.

I think you need to move your tribar up one bar on the grille. It's a little low. But your car is coming along nicely, loving it!
