I got a 2011 mustang v6 black premium... do you think its a gay car? Everyone keeps saying how its gay since its not a 5.0 but my parents did not trust me with one nor could they afford it :/ im barely 17 and i pay 480 a month myself

 

Don't let anyone's opinion have any relevance on what you think about your car. For being 17 and driving a new 305 HP Mustang I think that's something in itself to be proud of. Haters are going to hate, you do your thing. F**k em!

Your ride is beautiful and it is actually quite fast - I would not let my teen have that much juice. As for who says what: Judge not lest ye be judged. I stopped caring what people (other than my family) think about me or my style - and I never looked back. Whoever disses your ride probably thinks Grabber Blue is lame, too.

 

If you love your car, I love your car!! Sorry the majority of people are a$$es. I wish I was driving that when I was 17. My payment on my ride, 87 Dakota, was about $180/mth. If you can pay what you're paying, screw em!! It's an awesome car!!

 

Consider one thing: What kind of car are they driving. If it's not something new and awesome such as a 2011 V6 Mustang, then they are just jealous.

If, however, they ARE driving something like a 2011 GT, well... yeah, they're just being jerks.

I saw some kid down the street with an mid-80's Ford Escort in some pale blue and it was shiny factory new inside and out - probably garage-kept by his grandmother. He thought it was lame, but I would have scooped it up and brought it to car shows with pride.

 

Your car is great! 300+ hp AND it is a Mustang. Cant beat that at 17.

 

Dude, your car is sweet. I remember when I first got mine in highschool..."Is it a V8? No...Well then that's gay." Seriously?...2 seconds ago they didn't know the difference and thought it was sweet, and now it's gay for not having a V8. They're just being douchebags. You've got as much HP as the GT did back then...and that wasn't that long ago. Don't let it get to you. Just be you, and enjoy the car.

Just Make em proud and keep your end of the bargain up $$$$$, Assuming they co-signed since you said your barley 17? So you must have showed them you are very responsible Happy for you!

 

It is quite the opposite here in Europe. My car attracts a lot of attention and I let people know right away that it is a V6 and they could care less. They love this car. I could not afford to drive another V8 as a daily driver so I am more than happy to still have a mustang to drive everywhere.

I agree with everyone else. The hell with them. First off, saying it's gay is just plain dumb. I, frankly, am jealous as hell that the new V6s have the same horsepower AND better MPG than my '05 GT. LOL. Rock your ride and like Glenn said, start driving their girls around town. Unless they have a ride newer and more powerful with lots of extras they have no room to talk. Thumbs up!
