So i have a 2011 mustang, but i want to put some type of exhaust on it......thing is i am paying for the ford premium (extended warranty ....) does adding an exhaust or intake or headers void the warranty?

It all depends on your dealer. But if you are just doing Axle backs you will be fine. Unless ford can prove because of your axle backs is the direct cause of the failure.

I found & bought my GT from a lot 84 miles away. Close to 2 hrs when driving. My cousin works @ lot about 30 miles away, sells Fords. I have the extended warranty & he says besides my axle-backs, I can't change up anything. Didn't know there was a muffler warranty? My muffler mechanic did say even if something happens not remotely related to my exhaust, they'll try & blame it on that.
