Finally arrived! My 2014 GT 5.0 Premium with Saddle Leather!

I finally got my new '14 GT...getting ready for a wash (and a torrential downpour, as it happened...)

Thanks all! Today I did my 1st MAJOR detailing - full paint correction to remove the factory-installed swirls. This included a complete wash, claying (OMG - filthy!), Polish with Chemical Guys v36, full wipe-down with IPA, glaze with Chemical Guys Blacklight, Carnauba wax goes on tomorrow (ran out of time & weather).

Boy, when you are a novice, this takes a while! I promise some pics tomorrow.

Can't get enough of that saddle, especially with black on the outside. So much so, I just ordered same color combo myself. Great taste!

A man on exceptional taste! Be sure to post photos once it arrives!

Did you read the saga about what it took for me to get mine? What a PiTA that was, but well worth it, I think - so much nicer than the black-on-black combo most people get. It just gives the car a whole other feel...more luxurious and classy...

Hope the impending plant break doesn't hold it up too long, I would love to be able to take a picture!

I just read your AutoNation tale - not cool. I had never heard of AutoNation before reading TMS forums, but I haven't read much good!

I was planning on getting chemical guys polish and wax too. How do you like the results? Did it take the swirls out and what did you use to apply the polish?

Sorry - for some reason I missed this post. To answer your question, the CG stuff is really nice! It's very easy to work with and produces NO dust whatsoever. It's really amazing stuff!

As for the end results, see for yourself. I posted some pics in THIS THREAD.

I was debating going saddle leather, but got cold feet and order mine with black leather with the blue accents. Your car looks great!
