I have a 2012 black gt/cs on order and am thinking of going with the factory scoop but instead of painting it gloss black like the car, going with the matte finish to match the stripe and the rear deck lid panel.
opinions anyone??

 

looks like i should of posted this in the exterior section. If a mod can move it that would be great.

 

Personally I am no fan of hood scoops, especially on the 2010+. I think it looks odd sitting on top of the power dome hood.

 

if it were a small scoop, i would say sure, but its to large to go full matte finish, wouldnt look right, instead , ditch that scoop and get the cdc shaker scoop thats in the matte finish already.. and its functional..

 

Wouldn't do that on mine. If you like that, do it!! You're $ & car.

 

Just go with the new FRPP Shaker kit!
