12 Black GT + Brembos-Keeping Wheels Clean

In between car washing, what does everybody use to keep the wheels clean from daily driving, brake dust etc etc. . . keeping in mind that they are factory painted.

I would prefer to stay with Meguiar products if possible.

Mine is only 2 weeks old, washed it twice already, but in between use a clean shirt to wipe them down every two days. Sorry I just try and keep it simple.

Keep them waxed and use detail spray along with a micro fiber cloth.

I switched over to Centric posi-quiet ceramic pads when I did the brembo upgrade to keep my wheels clean, as they don't dust.

I ha a pair of those dustless pads and they chewed the life out of my rotors. In a year the rotors needed to be replaced lol.

As stated, keep the wheels waxed. Either a wheel specific wax or a regular, quality paint wax. This helps keeps the brake dust from adhering to the wheels, making it easier to clean off. Then just a light mist of QUALITY/GENTLE wheel cleaner and rinse/wipe. Or lights cleaning maybe a little car soap and water in a spray bottle.

If the crap chokes you it is NOT good for your painted wheels. Sure the safe stuff is more expensive but so are your wheels. Buy something good.

I'm curious about your Centric posi-quiet pads. Are they only available for the fronts? Also where did you buy them and how much were they?
