Dale Jarrett will win, as this is not a points race.
After the May 30th race, I will mostly likely be unable to do my updates until mid to late August (Limited access to the internet because of my military duties) If someone wants to volunteer to be another Moderator for this forum, please let me know. I will have internet access but may be working during the races.

At least a Ford won!!
Pretty good race! I was only able to watch the last 2 segments.

If I know that I am going to be around on Sundays I have no problems helping post. However, I too am not sure how often I will be able to post updates. My schedule will be getting somewhat busy over the summer months.

I have 2 Ford's & I am an Earnhardt fan all the way, both Dale Sr. & Dale Jr. I go for the driver not the car. In fact, I have 3's & 8's on my 2000 Mustang & plan on putting them on my 05 whenever I get it!!!! :P

I have all the respect for #3 & #8. One must respect the enemy!!
I am a little different, maybe a little old school (though I am 30) I pull more for the cars (make). Althought Kurt Busch is an exception to the rule. He just gets on my nerves! I think I would rather have #8 win to spite Busch!
Any one see Tony Stewert almost make a run at Indy today (Bump Day)? darn corporate sponsors, i.e., Chevy!! A.J. Foyt offered Smoke a ride in a car with Toyota power. Tony said Home Depot and Gibbs Racing were cool with it, but another sponsor was not as forgiving.
To me Smoke is the modern day Mario. He can drive just about anything! Much respect!

So, what Ford do you pull for, all of them except Busch? He is probably on the bottom of my fan list. Tony is a good driver, as long as he can keep his mouth shut. Don't think he can though. Think he will be going back to anger management classes before the year is over. Not sure why he is so unhappy lately. What's up with him & D.W.? I must of missed some of what Waltrip said about him because what I heard wasn't enough to get Tony so fired up. Think all that smack talk Tony had to say was a little uncalled for. I am not trying to bash Tony as him & Dale Jr. seem to run so well together. Wish he would keep his cool as I like to see him and Jr. race, of cource with Jr. in the lead

Stanggirl-
Did you enjoy Tony and Dale Jr. racing, and almost winning the 24 Hours of Daytona? They raced well on the same team!
My favorite Ford driver is Dale Jarrett. Like I said 'Old School'! I like Sadler, but his sponsor is sorta wimpy! I miss the Beer, tobacco, and Auto Parts sponsors!
Davey Allison was probably my favorite driver.
Even Dale Earnhardt drove a Ford for a 2 years (1982-1983). . .and had 3 wins!

Nice pictures of Dale Sr. Evil Capri. He's also one of those drivers that would drive good no matter what make he was driving. Yes, I thought it was pretty cool how Jr. & Tony race so good as a team. I bet they are pretty good bud's off the track also. I like Dale Jarrett, seems like a real nice guy. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the veterans do well every now & then. I've seen a few people turn their backs on Bill Elliot since he switched from Ford to Dodge & to me that isn't a true fan. My 68 & 2000 Mustang's are the only Ford I have ever owned so can't say that I am a Ford fan, but have always been crazy about Mustang's guess that's why I pull for the driver & not the car.
Do you think that the Yates-Roush engine thing has worked out all their bugs? Sure had a lot of engine failures there at the start of that little merge.
I like Sadler even though M&M's is kinda of, as you put it "wimpy". I like the paint job on it, but that is a females opinion so you maybe right!!!! How many guys do you see at the track wearing Mark Martin's sponsor shirts or hats. Yeah right, they want to be a walking billboard for Viagra. Nothing against Mark or Ford but he really needs to find a sponsor who is a little more fan friendly, since Nascar has turned into such a money game. Of cource thats a whole new subject.

Are you asking in general terms, or in regards to the new cylinder head?
I would say they are 85% towards a strong, reliable engine. Ricky Rudd is the only Ford using the new cylinder head engine this week. The rest of the Fords are using the old engine.

Just in general, they seem to have had quite a few engine failures compared to before. I was pretty concerned when I heard they had put the 2 enigne departments together as I figured they would be pretty strong & thats not good for use not Yates-Roush fans.

Dale Jarrett is my favorite as well. He drives a Ford, he's from North Carolina (like me) and I respect him as a person. I used to have him on my fantasy roster but now I have Kurt Busch. I don't like Kurt at all but I learned early in the Fantasy League that picking drivers on emotional reasons had a detrimental effect on my results (not that I'm doing any better now).
