Of course I think we owe a lot of this to Michael Waltrip, who managed to damage around 15 good cars on lap 29.

 

Heck Yeah!! Very, very cool! Haven't been this excited watching a NASCAR race in a long time!

 

 

Plus it is great to see the Wood Brothers in victory circle!

 

 

OMG!!! Just got back from Tucson/Tombstone Fords on 4th Wathced about 15mins of the race and this news hits!!! Fantabuloso!!!! Congrats to Trevor and Wood Brothers Racing, Ford and who else do I need to congratulate!!!

 

I was workin' so I didn't see the race, but I heard about Trevor's awesomeness, and lemme tell ya, that is really somethin' else!

Dang shame he's a temp this year. Maybe this will get him in more races.

/Did see a little at the beginning... all those pairings... I know they're working hard to do that, but... seems so wrong.

Not to hijack, but at the start of the GWC, Bill Elliott was in 7th and I thought he was going to win it! Nice Job to Trevor. SUPER awesome!

Apt. net went down but the cable didn't, BIG congrats to Trevor! He was a sitting duck on that last restart given who was behind him, but he held them off like and old pro and deserves that win! Not bad for a guy who started at the back and spent the early part of the race pushing Gordon around.

 

I'm loving it, but now I wonder how long untill Nascar changes the rules again so the Fords are put at another disadvantage?! I can hear the Chevy camp now, " They not only won but did it with a greenhorn from god knows where! Then they won 1-2-3!" I picture Bill France rocking each of the crying Chevy team owners to sleep having to change his shirt soaked from all the tears! Did anybody catch Darrel Waltrip's interview after the race?! That was a real laugh! It was like he didn't want to talk about it! If it were a Chevy or a Toyota that won, he would have been the motor-mouth he usually is!! And FINALLY... David Pearson was inducted into the Nascar hall of fame!
