A tale of two ladies . . .
Danica and Sara Fisher will be starting on the same row at Kentucky Speedway this afternoon. Will Ms. Fisher get another chance in the IRL (on a regular basis) if she beats the pants (wouldn't mind seeing that ) off Danica?

Looks like Ms. Patrick placed higher than Ms. Fisher . . . by 4 spots (8th & 12th respectively). Not bad for Sarah seeing she's been out west trying her hand in NASCAR. I would like to have seen if Sarah would have finished higher in a more competitive ride.

Good race, I think they both did a great job. It would be sweet to see both ladies on the best team in the two fastest cars someday. I did, however, miss the finish because I was switching back and forth with the Champ Car race and had to see the "fight" between Tracy and Bordais.

The Champ Car finishes was something to see for sure! I too was switching back and forth. I usually like Paul and will defend his driving style, but todays race move made me shake my head and actually feel for Sebastian. Poor move by Paul . . . .

I gotta admit, I cheated. I was up at Grattan this weekend for the SCCA Nationals, and recorded Champ, IRL, and Rolex. When I got hpme around 10 Saturday night, and found that I'd forgotten to record one of the two Cup races a year that I care about, I just watched the Speed Report, and got everything done in under an hour.
Probably wouldn't have done it, but my roommate had called to ask if I was at that one race where somebody caught on fire. (Technically, yes, but I didn't think that McDermitt's '05 A-Sedan would have made the news.) So I kinda wanted to find out about that.
Sarah will be getting another shot at the season finale at Chicagoland. Hard to believe that there are only 2 races left in the season.
