Looks like the move to Fox Sports 1 is taking shape. Hope the crew transfers to NBC.

NBC Sports Group signed a four-year deal with Formula One for the exclusive U.S. media rights to the world's most popular global motorsports series.

The deal, which begins next season, will provide over 100 hours of programming across NBC and cable channel NBC Sports Network.

Bummer for F1 fans. If the 2012 olympics are any indication, this coverage will suck

NBC really needs to step up their game on this one, and bringing over the commentary team of Varsha/Hobbs/Matchett/Buxton will be a big time start!

i agree this sucks. weather channel died with nbc paws on it, now f1 in the usa will die because of nbc. the olympics? shoot, i never knew they slimmed down the events to basketball, volleyball. although i did enjoy teams usa women's beach volleyball at least they got that right.

Any news in regard to Fox Sports 1 from the NASCAR TV deal just announced? I had read rumors the FS1 was influencing the deal.

I'm saddened by the lack of Alain de Cadenet.

Wonder if Fox tossed some money to Varsha to stay on for continued Barrett Jackson coverage.

not too bad, glad they kept the core, losing Varsha kinda sucks though.

And we gotta get them to hire Wil Buxton! Definitely one of the best things about F1 coverage is his pre-race run through.
