My friend told me that his wife has a detailed list of the recipents of the cash and Nascar is on the list. Most likely a politician who exchanged a yes vote for some political pork. I have to ask if she'll give me a copy..

Actually it is the continuation of a program that lets race tracks depreciate equipment at a faster rate for two more years. They can depreciate equipment similar to how amusement parks do it...7 years rather than 15.

I'm fairly sure that NASCAR is still generating more cash than any other sport. I don't see how they could be in NEED of a bailout, but if they are they need policing just like the GOV MINT and everyone else.
